Earning a certification offers the opportunity to enhance your resume and validate your knowledge of the core concepts of the associated field of study.
Recertification is required to ensure that students maintain the same level of knowledge demonstrated on their first exam.

Lean Six Sigma
Recertification is required every three years to ensure that students maintain the same level of knowledge demonstrated on their first exam. Students can become recertified by taking any two of the Villanova courses listed below. A $50 recertification fee will apply.*

Six Sigma Green Belt

Upon successful completion of the Certificate in Agile program’s three (3) required courses and separate certification exam, you will attain the Professional Certification in Agile & Scrum (PCAS) credential from Villanova University.
Recertification will be required every three years and a $50 recertification fee will apply. Students can become recertified by taking any two of the Villanova courses listed below. Courses must be taken after earning your PCAS certification.
Recertification policy: Recertification will be required every three years and a $50 recertification fee will apply. Please note the Villanova courses permitted toward your recertification. Two courses will need to be taken toward recertification. Courses must be taken after earning your PCAS certification.
Business Process Management
Upon successful completion of the Certificate in Business Process Management program’s three required courses and a [separate] certification exam, you will attain the Certified Professional in Business Process Management (CPBPM) credential from Villanova University.
Recertification can be achieved by completing two additional Villanova courses, not previously taken.
Recertification policy: Recertification will be required every three years and a $50 recertification fee will apply. Please note the Villanova courses permitted toward your recertification. Two courses will need to be taken toward recertification.
Business Intelligence
Upon successful completion of the Certificate in Business Intelligence program’s three required courses and a separate certification exam, you will attain the Certified Professional in Business Intelligence (CPBI) credential from Villanova University.
Recertification can be achieved by completing two additional Villanova courses, not previously taken.
